Bramble was the first dog we bred from, and he set the standard for everything after him. He is not the flashiest dog in the house and he never has been. What he is, is reliable in a way that is hard to describe until you have lived with it.
He waits at doors. He notices when somebody in the room is upset and goes and sits near them without making a fuss about it. When a litter is being weaned he lies just outside the pen for hours, doing nothing in particular, apparently just keeping an eye on things.
What he passes on, consistently, is that steadiness. If you are looking for a puppy who will grow into a dog you can take anywhere without worrying, look at Bramble’s litters first.

How we choose which dogs to breed
All of our parent dogs are health-checked by our veterinarian and looked over before any breeding. We breed only healthy, well-tempered dogs from our own line, and we have raised our litters with no known hereditary health problems. We do not make formal certification claims, because we do not run formal certification programmes, and a claim we cannot back is worth less than nothing to you.
Temperament decides more than looks do. A dog who is anxious, sharp, or unhappy around people does not go into a litter here, whatever else is true about him.
