This is a small family operation, not a company with a marketing department, and this policy describes what actually happens rather than what a template says.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry through this site we receive your name, your email address, your phone number, your address, your location, whatever you write in the message, and which puppy you were asking about. Our website also records the date and time of the inquiry and the IP address it came from, which is standard and which helps us deal with automated spam.
What we do with it
We reply to you. That is the whole purpose.
Your inquiry is stored on our website so that a conversation about a puppy cannot get lost, and so that if you write again in six months we know what we discussed. If you go on to take a puppy, we keep the record for as long as we would want to be able to help you with that dog, which in practice is the life of the dog.
What we do not do with it
- We do not sell it. Not to anybody, not ever.
- We do not pass it to other breeders, brokers or transport companies without asking you first.
- We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not have a marketing list.
- We do not use it to advertise to you elsewhere.
When you send an inquiry you get an automatic reply about the puppy you asked about, and then a real reply written by a person. Both come from our own address. Neither is a subscription, and there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress, which the site runs on, may set a cookie if you log in to the administration area, which is us and not you.
Your inquiry, removed
Write to us and ask, and we will delete your inquiry record and confirm that we have. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
