Juniper is the quietest dog we have. She is pale, elegant, and almost entirely unbothered by anything: thunderstorms, the vacuum cleaner, visitors, other dogs’ opinions. She watches it all happen and does not get up.
That is worth more than it sounds. A puppy who inherits that will be easy to take places, easy to leave, and easy to live with in a busy household, and Juniper’s puppies reliably do inherit it.
She is not aloof, for the record. She just prefers to be near you rather than on you, which after a day of Otto is a genuine relief.

How we choose which dogs to breed
All of our parent dogs are health-checked by our veterinarian and looked over before any breeding. We breed only healthy, well-tempered dogs from our own line, and we have raised our litters with no known hereditary health problems. We do not make formal certification claims, because we do not run formal certification programmes, and a claim we cannot back is worth less than nothing to you.
Temperament decides more than looks do. A dog who is anxious, sharp, or unhappy around people does not go into a litter here, whatever else is true about her.
