Clover is our youngest dam and the most cheerful animal I have ever owned. She wakes up already pleased about it. She is happiest when the whole household is in one room and visibly unsettled when we are spread across three.
Her first litter was larger than we expected and she handled it without a wobble, which told us most of what we needed to know about her. She is a careful mother in a busier way than Marigold: less counting, more constant involvement.
Her puppies are sociable and quick, and they want company. A Clover puppy left alone for long days would be an unhappy dog, and I will ask you about your hours before I let you have one.

How we choose which dogs to breed
All of our parent dogs are health-checked by our veterinarian and looked over before any breeding. We breed only healthy, well-tempered dogs from our own line, and we have raised our litters with no known hereditary health problems. We do not make formal certification claims, because we do not run formal certification programmes, and a claim we cannot back is worth less than nothing to you.
Temperament decides more than looks do. A dog who is anxious, sharp, or unhappy around people does not go into a litter here, whatever else is true about her.
