Every puppy here is priced individually, and the price is on the card. You do not have to write to us to find out what a Golden Retriever puppy costs.

Colour tells you nothing about how a dog will turn out, but people arrive knowing the shade they have pictured, so here is every colour we raise.

What a Golden Retriever puppy costs here

Our puppies are currently priced from $780 to $940. No two are priced identically, because no two puppies are identical. Where a puppy sits in that range comes down to the individual dog: how the litter went, what the vet found, temperament as it settles, and how much work a particular puppy has needed from us.

It does not come down to coat colour. A red puppy and a cream puppy from the same litter are priced the same way, on the same grounds, and if you ever see a breeder charging a premium for a shade, ask them what the shade actually buys you.

What the price covers

  • A veterinary examination, and the vaccinations appropriate for the puppy's age.
  • Worming, on schedule, from the first weeks.
  • A microchip, registered before the puppy leaves.
  • Eight weeks minimum of raising, which is the part nobody itemises and the part that matters most.
  • A written health guarantee, including one year against serious hereditary conditions.
  • Us, afterwards, for as long as the dog lives.

What it does not cover

Travel, if you need the puppy brought to you rather than collected. The shipping page explains how that works and what it involves. Ongoing costs are yours, and they are not small: food, routine veterinary care, and insurance if you want it. A Golden Retriever is a twelve-year commitment, and the purchase price is the smallest part of it.

How it works

From your first message to going home

You write to us about a particular puppy. We write back ourselves, usually within a day, and we will ask about your household: who is in it, whether there are other animals, how much of the day someone is home. We place puppies by fit, not by who asked first.

If it looks right on both sides, a reservation holds that puppy for you. The reservation is 50 per cent of the listed price, it comes off the total rather than being extra, and it is fully refundable if you change your mind before the puppy travels or is collected. We are not going to take money from someone who has gone quiet on the idea.

Nothing goes home before 8 weeks. Not for a birthday, not for a holiday, not for any amount of money. Here is why that matters.

How often we have litters

Two or three a year, and only when a dam is genuinely ready for one. Usually six to eight puppies. That means availability here is naturally limited, and it also means there are stretches with nothing on this page at all. If the timing does not work, tell us and we will be straight with you about when it might.

We leave these up on purpose. A breeder who deletes every placed puppy leaves you no way to see what they have actually done.
